NATURA RESTAURANT NEW CHEF!


We are excited to announce that we have a new chef in our Natura Restaurant. Below some words from him:

Words from the chef

I define our kitchen as Ethnic Fusion, combining international flavors with traditional dishes. In Natura, our catering team play with the flavours of the Caribbean, delivering the freshness of seafood combined with spices of this nourished island. I can give an example, our Natura Ceviche:
Mahi-mahi, cuttlefish, octopus, shrimp, conch. Marinated in coconut milk, mango, ginger, passion fruit, basil, lime other spices to discover on your palate.
From our orchard we proudly produce some vegetables and fruits of our spicy dishes.
Always feel confident in our Chef to ask for recipes or get involved in our kitchen.

NATURA CABANA IS AWARDED AS ONE OF THE DOMINICAN TREASURES

The Tourism Competitiveness Consortium (CDTC), a non-profit Dominican organization, created the “Dominican Treasures” award to “issue a quality label to ecotourism activities and destinations, as well as cultural activities and services that make them “sustainable” tourism attractions.

Our resident yoga teacher Kieran Barry has already started teaching for this season.
Here is what he has to say about himself and his style of yoga.

"I have practised various forms of yoga over the years including Iyengar, Astangha and Sivananda though more recently have become very interested in the dynamic forms of yoga such as Anusara and Vinyasa Flow.
Anusara is a wonderful combination of dynamic, flowing poses and also very precise alignment of the body thus resulting in a strong yet safe work-out for the body.
I am also very influenced by my many years of practising Buddhism and meditation and bring this element of yoga very strongly into my classes. Therefore my students get to work not just on their bodies but also on their minds and hearts at the same time.
Classes are open to all, whether you are a complete beginner or a more experienced practitioner."
