Natura Cabañas, is family-owned and operated by The Garimanis. Not unlike the Swiss Family Robinson, that mythical family in the movie of the same name, who left their comfortable, civilized home to carve a new life for themselves on an island in a faraway land, The Garimanis left a privileged lifestyle in their  homeland and Pablo, an architect, began to carve their new house from the tropical bush that was their waterfront property. He utilized native materials such as eucalyptus (natural insect repellant), pine, and caoba wood. Over the past few years, Natura Cabanas has become so developed that the owners actually moved away from this wonderful place in order to offer more room and comfort to their guests.
